O Allah, ik vraag U om het goede ervan, het goede dat zich hierin bevindt en het goede waarmee hij is gezonden en ik zoek mijn toevlucht bij U tegen het slechte ervan, het slechte dat zich hierin bevindt en het slechte waarmee hij is gezonden.

Wanneer de hemel bewolkt werd, dan veranderde de kleur van de profeet ﷺ en ging naar buiten. Dan weer naar binnen en liep op en neer. Wanneer het dan begon te regenen, verdween deze toestand van hem en dat zag ik dan aan zijn gezicht. Toen ik hem hierover vroeg, zei hij: O ‘Aaïshah, het zou kunnen zijn zoals het volk van ‘Aad zei: Toen zij (de bestraffing) dan zagen als een donkere wolk die zich naar hun valleien wendde, zeiden zij: Dit is een wolk die ons regen zal brengen. (46:24)”
